While using the 'Full-Text Search' feature on FamilySearch, I have discovered a marriage that has not be documented on any of the online family trees. What makes it interesting is that the marriage took place on 30 Jul 1811 in Borgetto, Palermo, Sicily, Italy. That is 215 years ago. Absolutely amazing to find a new marriage. Genealogists say that working with historical documents are the pieces that help put the family history puzzle together. And what I found yesterday, was a completely unknown piece of the puzzle.
Here are the details about the families: the groom is Vincenzo Fedele Mariano Misseri (the son of Vito Rosario & Anna Giovanna Maria Pietra Bua) & the bride is Rosa Jacono (the daughter of Benedetto & Maria Bacarella). Vincenzo Fedele Mariano Misseri was born in Carini and I'm guessing that Rosa Jacono was probably from the Borgetto area, since that was where the wedding took place.
